Researcher from Institute of Semiconductor Technology, TU Braunschweig (Germany), fabricated a “snow-covered Christmas tree”, by growing ZnO nanowires on Si nanorods.

They made a “photo” for this “nano Christmas tree” using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).
